Background:

Some areas have a message board available to them. Messages may only be posted by members of the area's fan club, and the board owner controls their visibility. The message board is not available until it is opened by the area owner. Note that in order to join a club, one's expertise level must be "powerful" or greater.

All ePlays message boards work similarly, for this example we will consider a message board devoted to a Play in development. What you write in your intial post will depend on what stage of writing you are in with this Play; in this case the author has a completed first draft. The usual formatting conventions apply: separate paragraphs with two blank lines, and create a list item by starting a line with "asterisk space". In addition, you may create bold, italic, underlined, or struck-thru text by surrounding it with a pair of doubled special characters, **such as this**, and clicking the appropriate translate checkbox in the formatting section, below. (This feature is only available if your expertise is set to "powerful" or greater.) Then, click the [post] button.

Posts are not visible to anybody except the message board owner and to the member who wrote the post, until you as the message board owner release it. As other club members post to the board, you may choose to keep these posts private, or to release them in order to spur more discussion. You may also delete posts completely by clicking the (or DELETE this post.) link and confirming that you wish to do this. Deleted posts cannot be recovered.
